BATMAN-MASK OF THE PHANTASM Style Guide Art!

Here are a few of my pieces created for the BATMAN-THE MASK OF THE PHANTASM animated movie style guide! A style guide is a big book of approved images that companies and interested manufacturers can use on merchandise, and many of my drawings ended up on posters (see below), magazine covers, towels, toys…..Click images below to enlarge!

Images below: It's me, posing with a few posters and magazines that made use of my designs!

Super Grover! Sesame Workshop Merchandise Art! CTW!

A very fun assignment! The folks at Sesame Workshop came to me wanting many "super heroic" poses for their newly revised SUPER GROVER 2.0 character! Here are some roughs, full pencil designs, and even a final inked piece from this job! I tried to give Grover a sorta "Jack Kirby" Marvel Comics vibe, but always keeping his goofy attitude at the forefront, also! Great to work with the famous SESAME STREET Muppets! Batman's Robin! Trading Card and--Nightlite?! BATMAN:THE ANIMATED SERIES!

This has to be one of the oddest uses of my art! On the left, below, is artwork I produced in the 90s for a BATMAN:THE ANIMATED SERIES style guide for DC Comics, used here on a trading card. On the right is a 3D bas-relief plug-in nightlite made from the design! Ya never know....Click to enlarge images!
