Here is an illustration I created to audition for the job of drawing the POWER RANGERS comic book, from Hamilton Comics! I wanted to show that yes, I could draw the superheroes from the popular show, but also the "regular" human actors, their gestures, expressions, likenesses, etc..I got the assignment! Here are three cover roughs for an interesting assignment from DC Comics! The folks at DC were commissioned to create an educational dental care comic book for dentists to give to their young patients! The main character would demonstrate flossing, brushing, proper eating habits, and more, all in an entertaining format! Click to enlarge!

Just for fun, I painted this re-interpretation of the famous 1966 SPIDER-MAN cover from issue 42! Originally drawn for Marvel Comics by John Romita Sr., I tweaked the figures a bit, and attempted a more "realistic" version of the scene, using watercolors and ink! Click to enlarge!
