FANTASTIC FOUR Pencilled Pages! Retro Marvel Comics!

Here is a fun find from my fathomless files! This was a three-page pencilled try-out for the then-new (2001) FANTASTIC FOUR: WORLD'S GREATEST COMIC MAGAZINE, from Marvel Comics! That series was a wonderful "retro" comic, created in the style of the original 60s FANTASTIC FOUR comics, so I tried to deliberately channel the art of Jack Kirby (the 60s FF artist supreme), and these were the results! I had a ton of fun creating these! Click each below to enlarge!

The NEW Superhero Library Card! 2015 Edition!

That's right! I was asked back by a local library, to create another new (see the first one here) superhero-themed library card! Once again, the card was to feature two cavorting costumed characters, in dramatic action, all in an awesome effort to promote reading, and the attractions of the library system! Click below to follow the card's step-by-step creation! Click each image to enlarge!

Below ten images: Rough pencil ideas for the card! Once again, the
theme was to feature two heroes (one male, one female), and
the many library offerings!

Below two images: Zeroing in on the final image! It was decided
to feature the two superheroes exploding from the interior of
an opened hardback book, so...

Below: The final penciled art for the card! Note the changes
to the two characters, so as to differentiate them from the
previous heroes that were seen on the first card!
