2005 Romance Comics Story!

Here is an interesting bit of work, culled from a 2005 comics story, created for an online romance comics firm, who presented the pages in an "online novel" format (hence the horizontal orientation)! The actual tale ran about 20 pages, but here are some select boards from the story, all about a shy tech-savvy "geek" who never appreciated the wonderful gal right in front of him! But, all ends well for both of the star-crossed lovers! Click each image to enlarge!

The Making of WONDER WOMAN! DC Comics Charity Drawing!

Here is a piece of original art (featuring Wonder Woman switching identities and outfits) created for a charity effort, the WONDER WOMAN DAY, held to provide attention and funding toward anti-violence programs! You can see my pencilled rough sketch on the left, with the finished inked illustration to the right! It was a real challenge trying to imbue a sense of action, grace, fun, and vitality to a single pose! Click to enlarge!

Al Bigley "Doctor Occult" Illustration! DC Comics!

I really love this drawing! Done for a fan, this is a commissioned ink piece of a 1940s comic book character called "Dr. Occult," a two-fisted superhero who relied on his trusty guns as much as his other-worldly powers! Click to enlarge!
