Here are some illustrations done for the then-new PBS show, WORD WORLD! In that kid's education program, all objects are made of words, thus prompting kids to read!  It was a challenge creating word-shaped illustrations that were accurate, attractive, and enticing to young viewers and readers! SONIC THE HEDGEHOG Comic Book Art! Archie Comics!

One of the most successful comic book series of the last 20 years is Archie's SONIC THE HEDGEHOG! Followed by now-grown fans of the video game from the 90s, SONIC now sports a loyal following who love the characters, subplots, and relationships among the long-running group! Here is the original art for the "splash page" to an AVENGERS WEST COAST comic story I pencilled! It was great to draw such classic Marvel Comics characters, not only Scarlet Witch, but Iron Man, The Wasp, Vision, and others! This story was also scripted by Marvel writing  legend, Roy Thomas! Here are three cover roughs for an interesting assignment from DC Comics! The folks at DC were commissioned to create an educational dental care comic book for dentists to give to their young patients! Now THIS is an strange one! I designed this logo around 1987 for a North Carolina fan club for the Monkees! I attempted to mix the Monkees logo with the UNC Tar Heels logo, and came up with a favorite design...but for a very oddly-named club! Click to enlarge!
